Subject : AFBC Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships Postponment
Dear Presidents and Secretaries Generals,
I regret to inform you that, at the end of an urgent meeting convened at the Cameroon Ministry of Sports following the decision of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee recommending to its General Assembly to withdraw the IBA from the Olympic movement, the Minister of Sports has decided to postpone the organization of the AFBC Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships scheduled from June 13 to 26, 2023 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, to a later date.
To this end, the AFBC Board of Directors will meet in the next few days to confirm the new date of this competition, which has been maintained in Cameroon by the Extraordinary IBA Board of Directors held today.
