IBA Secretary-General Roberts, AFBC President Berhanu and Ethiopian Sports Minister to address a press conference in Addis Ababa
A major press conference is taking place now at the Hayat Regency Hotel in Addis Ababa to officially announce the eagerly awaited IBA Champions Night contest scheduled for August 17 in the Ethiopian capital city.
Dubbed Unite Africa Championships, the Champions Night, the first one on African soil, is viewed as a game changer in the continent.
IBA Secretary-General Chris Roberts OBE, Africa Boxing Confederation (AFBC) President Eyassu Berhanu and Ethiopia’s Minister of Culture and Sports Mrs Shawit will address the presser.
Some of the top African boxers will be in action in the August 17 show which will set ablaze Addis Ababa and showcase the African culture.
