Cameroon’s national boxing coach Didier Ngatcha is over the moon following a historic achievement by his pgymy boxer Martial Wouang who won light-flyweight gold in the AFBC Africa Men’s and Women’s Championships in Kinshasa on Friday, October 25.
He outpointed DR Congo’s Zola Tulembekwa by staying inside and releasing rapid combinations upstairs.
“I’m very happy a pygmy boxer I discovered in 2015 has won a gold medal for us,” said Ngatcha.
