AFBC PRO BOXING presents the card of boxers for January 24, 2025 at the Sidi Boussaid gymnasium in Tunis, Tunisia.

AFBC PRO BOXING is the latest creation of Ferdinand Ilunga Loyoyo President Ad Interim of the AFBC. This initiative aims to financially empower African boxers. All boxers will be paid immediately after their fight. “We care about the well-being of our boxers. We want our boxers in Africa to benefit from their sweat.” says Ilunga Luyoyo. ”

Let us recall that Ilunga Luyoyo received the mandate of President Ad Interim of the AFBC from the majority of African national federations, first in Kinshasa on October 31, 2024 and then confirmed at the extraordinary congress of the AFBC in Dubai on December 6, 2024.

The first edition of the AFBC PRO BOXING can count on the valuable cooperation of Barbouche Zied, President of the Tunisian Boxing Federation. Barbouche Zied also assured that the AFBC professional boxing gala on January 24 would be broadcast LIVE on social networks. Indeed, no less than 12 African countries will be represented in the ring of the Sidi Boussaid gymnasium in Tunis: Angola, Cameroon, Congo Brazza, Libya, Magadascar, Mauritius, Uganda, DR Congo, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo and Tunisia.

“All fights will take place in six rounds of three minutes each for men and five rounds of two minutes for women,” said André Basile Kalong, secretary general of the AFBC led by Luyoyo.

In the Tunisian card, three African champions from the DR Congo, Nyembo Gisele (flyweight), David Tshama (middleweight) and Pita Kabeji, heavyweight, will face Tunisians.
