Brigitte Mbabi went down from 70KG to 66KG this year in order to try one’s luck at the Olympic qualifications in Thailand. Just over a month ago, in the final of the Mandela Tournament in Durban, Brigitte Mbabi of the DRC won against Ivanusa Moreira by an extremely split decision WP 2:5 (BR0:2). But the first ticket for Paris 2024 is thus assured for Africa even if we do not yet know the name of the lucky winner.
